Work Days of the RoleMon to Fri
Hours of Work of the Role20 to 25 hours per week
- Are you an experienced Cook with exposure or interest in cooking for little kids?
- … or, Are you an experienced Educator with great cooking skills?
- Would you have fun developing & delivering healthy food for up to 40 babies and children each day?
- Are you looking for a part-time job that finishes mid-afternoon with no weekends?
- Would you like to be part of a small, community focused centre?

- Handover and support from our current cook, and mentoring from cooks in the other TRY Childcare Centres
- A permanent, part-time job – 20 to 25 hours per week

- Ability to deliver healthy menus reflecting cultural and individual needs of children
- Support health and wellbeing of children through planning and preparing nutritious meals and snacks
- Order food supplies in consultation with Centre Director
- Safe food handling compliant with Food Safety Plan
- Maintenance of kitchen to accreditation standards
Documents that you will be required to have or obtain
- Working with Children Check
- Australian Police Check
- Food Handlers Supervisor Certificate
- First aid qualification
- Emergency asthma management training
- Management of anaphylaxis training
- Police clearances for other countries in which you have worked between 2011 and now
