Acacia Children’s Centres (Acacia) is a not-for-profit community organisation with a long history of providing children’s services to multicultural communities. Acacia had THREE early childhood leaning centres located in Richmond, Fitzroy and St Albans with focus on providing high quality education and care in a safe and nurturing environment.
We currently have a new opportunity for a fantastic Centre Director to manage the team at our centre located in the Richmond area, Victoria. This position is suited for a motivated and Centre Director wanting a challenge, with significant experience that understands the role very well.

Essential Criteria:
- You must have previous experience as a Director/Nominated Supervisor in a medium service.
- Applicants must hold an Early Childhood Degree or Diploma in Children's Services
- Working With Children Check Card and Police Check
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Willing to be proactive in implementing curriculum
- Bright, friendly and energetic
- Dedicated to developing children
- Strong understanding of Victorian EYLF and National Quality Standards
- Knowledge of Qikkids and CCMS administration.
- Ability to lead and develop teams
- Highly developed time management skills
- Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Desire to continually learn and add value to our childcare centres
- To be able to work alongside with other Directors and to report to the Managing Director, Committee of Management.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: From $35.62 per hour
