The Corporate Services portfolio comprises the key corporate services elements of the University which collectively contribute to and support Griffith to achieve its overall mission and strategic goals.

Corporate Governance sits within the Office of the Vice President (Corporate Services) and supports the University Council, key committees, and the Senior Executive to ensure the effective overall management of the University through compliance with corporate-level responsibilities and obligations.

The opportunity
The Sustainability Manager will be responsible for supporting the University's Sustainability Sub-Committee to achieve the sustainability objectives outlined in Creating a future for all: Strategic Plan 2020-2025. The Sustainability Manager will work collaboratively across the University to effectively implement and promote the University's sustainability agenda, including engaging with stakeholders both internal and external to the University. The Sustainability Manger will be supported by a Sustainability Officer.

This is a continuing, part time (50%) position based at Nathan campus. Griffith is a multi-campus university and therefore it is understood that this position will work across campuses as required.

About you
The occupant of this position will hold relevant postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience in sustainability policy development and implementation within a large complex organisation, or an equivalent combination of relevant knowledge, training and/or experience.

Salary range
HEW Level 9: $112,764 - $116,796 (pro rata) per annum. Salary package including 17% employer superannuation contribution: $131,934 - $136,652 (pro rate) per annum.
