Position Objectives

· Formulating the L&D Strategy by undertaking TNAs, review of organisational goals and funding opportunities

· Design and develop programs and materials for all required training across the business

· Plan and deliver training programs to adult learners with virtual and face to face learning

· Work collaboratively with key stakeholders within the business including Quality and Education, Operations and HR developing an understanding of strategic goals

· Development of the eLearning platform for onboarding, refresher and other compliance training

· Regularly review all key learning programs to evaluate impact, cost effectiveness and alternate learning methods

· Compile and analyse course feedback to implement improvement initiatives

· Strong communication and collaboration skills in providing support to National Support Centre and the Services

· Strong time-management

· Ability to be flexible with the business needs priorities and tasks

· Multi-tasks and be able to work under pressure in the work environment

· Demonstrated experience in program planning

· Engage in and foster a supportive and collaborative working environment that harnesses open communication and innovative problem solving

· Creation of policies and procedures to support the L&D Framework

· Manage and review the National training budget

· Management of the LMS and associated record keeping

The successful applicant will have the following skillset:

· Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline

· Cert IV in Training and Assessment

· Minimum 4 years' experience in the development and delivery of training programs

· Extensive training & facilitation experience and /or consultancy experience within the Early Learning Sector

· Engaging and influencing leadership skills

· Understanding of adult learning principles

· An influence and mentor

· Engagement in quality improvement and best practice

· Role-model company values, culture and service standards

· Develop and maintain cutting-edge training with the support of champions within the business

· Design and build programs addressing performance, skills, and/or behaviour gaps; provide solutions to improve business performance, increase retention and productivity, and develop leaders with contemporary, future focused skills for the Early Learning sector.

· Create learner-centric programs that employees view as a valuable benefit and are embraced as a means to increase the effectiveness on the job and as a team

· Strong understanding and skill set relating to emotional intelligence

· Strong understanding of eLearning tools and implementation requirements

· Sound Knowledge of RTOs

· Strong evaluation, analytical and project management skills

· Sound knowledge of relevant legislation and government funding options

· Experience in managing the LMS (GO1) and associated record keeping
