The Role

Reporting to the Head of Skills Team Manufacturing, Robotics and Science - Creative and Design Ideation (North Region), Agribusiness, Supply Chain and eCommerce, the role will have specific responsibilities for leading program delivery, development of curriculum and resources and the mentoring and guidance of teaching staff.

The key focus of this role is to provide active and innovative leadership across the educational process, in accordance with internal TAFE policy and external regulatory requirements, by guiding and enhancing the professional competence, educational standards, and program delivery to enable students to better achieve their outcomes.

About you:

To succeed in this role, you are an ambitious high functioning Teacher looking to take the next step in a rewarding career. You are able to manage and, lead a passionate and diverse team of students and teachers who are dispersed across the state, and who are subject matter experts in their fields.

You will have demonstrated experience in delivering high class training in an adult learning environment and have demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and build relationships with stakeholders including industry and students.

Additional Requirements;

  • Diploma or Degree or equivalent in a relevant aviation and/or related discipline/major.
  • The Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) and a Diploma or higher-level qualification in adult education.
  • Previous experience leading a large team as a Head Teacher
  • Proven administrative skills including high level written and oral communication skills
  • Systems experience in EBS, SAP, e-checklists, Teacher Program Diary (TPD)
  • Experience in an educational environment at a strategic and operational level
