Early Childhood Educator - Diploma

Explore & Develop Alexandria is a privately owned Early Childhood Education Service that provides the highest quality education and care to 78 children between the ages of 6 weeks to 6 years.

Explore & Develop has a strong focus on building a sense of community and belonging for our children, families and the Explore & Develop team.

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Diploma to work with children between the ages 6 weeks to 2 years in a permanent full-time basis.

The successful applicant will have:

• A completed Diploma in Children’s Services
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Effective organisational and leadership skills
• A working knowledge of the National Quality Framework including the National Regulations, the National Quality
  Standard and the Early Years Learning Framework
• The ability to build warm and respectful relationships with families and children
• A passion for developing, planning, and implementing innovative educational programs
• The ability to work collaboratively and in a team environment
• An understanding of current pedagogical thinking and research
• Current First Aid Certificate
• Current Working with Children Check
