Early Childhood Educator - Family Day Care

Family Day Care Educator – 1 year maternity leave position

Northbridge Family Day Care is looking for a motivated and committed individual for a 1 year contract to operate the family day care while the owner is on maternity leave. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to gain invaluable experience operating and managing a family day care. We are looking for someone who is currently working in early childhood education and is seeking experience in order to manage a day care business, or has recently attained or is working towards a certificate III in early childhood education. For the right candidate, we are also willing to provide study assistance to help you attain your certificate III in early childhood education.

We are seeking someone that:

• Has a genuine passion for working with children

• Is patient, caring, bubbly and bright

• Motivated and committed with a strong work ethic

• Can multi-task and prioritise tasks efficiently and effectively

The role will be full-time, beginning from May 2021 – However we would like the candidate to start casually prior to this.

This role is a great opportunity for a passionate educator to learn the ins and outs of running a family day care, giving you the experience necessary to possibly even open your own one day!
