Permanent Full-Time Diploma Educator

Permanent Full-Time Diploma position

Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care Full Time position 38 hours per week to commence February 2021

Western Sydney University Early Learning Campbelltown is situated on the grounds of the Western Sydney University Campbelltown Campus which is located off Narellan Road, Campbelltown. We are looking to fill a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care position. The position will comply with the conditions set out in the Western Sydney University Early Learning EA.

To be a successful applicant you must have;

Essential

  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
  • Working with Children Check clearance and number for verification.
  • Current First Aid Certificate, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management training
  • DEC approved child protection training certificate
  • Sound Knowledge and Working Practise of National Quality Frameworks, Education and Care National Regulation and Law
  • Knowledge of overall Health and Safety regarding Children’s Services
  • Effective communication skills both verbal and written
  • Be reliable, self-motivated and have a strong team work ethic
  • Previous experience in working in an Early Education Service
  • Certified supervisor

Desirable

  • Involvement in the preparation and assessment under the National Quality Standard.
  • Involvement in contribute to the planning, implementation, evaluation and reflection of programs which reflect the emerging skills and interactions of children
