Our Learning Solutions Developer (Video and Digital Content) is primarily responsible for end-to-end development of video and digital learning solutions to support capability development for internal and external stakeholders in line with Toyota Australia’s goals.

You should be a passionate storyteller, able to engage with a broad cross-section of people to deliver smooth creation of educational video content for internal Toyota employees and stakeholders. The ability to work independently in a sometimes-ambiguous environment, and at speed (Just in Time Learning Solutions) to deliver training and educational content for video, digital and printed channels.

How you’ll make an impact

  • Develop video and digital content through each phase of design, from concept to deployment, storyboarding, filming, editing and post-production, in order to deliver solutions that engage stakeholders, meeting current and future requirements.

  • Implement agreed instructional design processes and procedures consistent with set policies in order to support the development of innovative and effective learning and development solutions which achieve TMCA’s learning and development objectives.

  • Partner with Toyota Academy facilitators to create agreed training solutions to ensure TMCA’s learning and development objectives are met.

  • Assist in the implementation of schedules for projects and reports performance against key milestones to ensure delivery of the project to schedule, quality and cost objectives.

  • Monitor and analyse performance against targets for own area and recommends countermeasures where required.

  • Maintain reporting systems in order to provide the business with accurate and timely information to support planning, budgeting and forecasting activities.

  • Monitor own tasks with respect to compliance with all relevant regulations and statutory requirements in order to minimise Toyota’s risk exposure and liabilities.

What we look for

  • Degree qualification or equivalent experience

  • Certificate IV in Training & Assessment, or willing to acquire within first 6mths of appointment

  • 2+ years’ accumulative experience

  • Experience in delivering end to end video and digital content

  • Track record in successfully designing and delivering training solutions

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
