is recruiting for a newly created opportunity titled Associate Director International Student Recruitment. This opportunity will play a key role in developing and executing the international student recruitment strategy for UTS, managing market engagement and ensuring effective integration with the University's international admissions process to achieve international student recruitment targets. The position will be based at the centrally located in Ultimo and will report directly to Deputy Director, International Student Recruitment.
Detailed Description

UTS International is the executive unit of the university that oversees international matters. The office is within the division of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Vice-President (International). UTS International is structured around three key areas of:

  • International Recruitment,
  • Global Engagement,
  • and Policy & Communications,
UTS International supports and implements the UTS International Strategy as well as its broader mission of internationalisation.

The opportunity will:
  • have a high level of engagement across UTS and UTS College to facilitate collaboration,
  • work as a trusted adviser within the area,
  • provide detailed recommendations on key strategic decisions in relation to international student recruitment,
  • inform and help shape UTS' key Internationalisation Strategy through using their previous experience, knowledge of the sector and an understanding of the goals and drivers for UTS' growth.
As the ideal candidate for the role, you will be:
  • Experienced in international student recruitment,
  • Capable of planning and executing strategy and monitoring achievements,
  • A relationship builder who is able to manage effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders within a large and complex organisation,
  • A leader with prior experience and success in mentoring and supervising staff to foster a service focused environment,
  • Knowledgeable of the global trends in higher education and internationalisation activities.
Remuneration/Salary

A competitive and comprehensive remuneration package will be offered. This role attracts 17% superannuation in addition to the base salary.
