About the College
As a Catholic School Thomas Carr College aims to educate our students with an appreciation of the spiritual as well as the intellectual and physical aspects of their lives. We aim to work with our parents to produce young people of faith and character.
At Thomas Carr College you become a member of a caring community built on Catholic values that have underpinned this emerging school over its 24-year history. Established in 1997 we have a proud tradition of transitioning students from primary school taking them on an inspiring learning experience, to create students who leave us after this six-year partnership as well-rounded individuals. Student centered learning is enhanced via a highly developed middle-years program, abundant technology for all students and state of the art new buildings and refurbishments.
About the role
The Art Technician major areas of responsibility are:
- To provide assistance to the Art Learning area in accordance with the timetabled classes, or as directed by the Head of Learning: Arts and Technology
- To provide administrative support to the Art department.
- To adhere to all Child Safety legislation and College requirements.
- Applications are currently invited from suitably qualified candidates commencing immediately.

- Has relevant qualifications and/or extensive prior experience in a similar role
- Have proven organisational skills.
- Demonstrate highly developed interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to liaise and communicate effectively with people at all levels and from varying backgrounds.
- Have displayed a commitment to teamwork.
- Have a proven capacity to work independently and effectively in the face of changing priorities, deadlines and pressures.
- Able to gain and keep successful registration for a Working With Children Check and successfully passes a National Police Record History Check
