We are looking for a young, passionate, dedicated and experienced Compliance and Operations Officer to join our expanding team at the head office level.

This position would be fantastic for an outstanding Nominated Supervisor looking to transition to upper management within a growing organisation. Candidates working at centres rated exceeding and above are encouraged to apply.

Key Accountabilities include:

  • Visit centres around Sydney proving support and guidance to centre managers and reporting directly to the owners.
  • Ensure centre compliance with National Laws and Regulations and the NQS.
  • Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters and forms
  • Reviewing policies and procedures in regards to regulations & laws in the Early Childhood Education sector and supporting the centre managers on updating the QIP.
  • Developing and maintaining presentations for training for internal staff
  • Act as an initial point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on behalf of the owners.
  • Provide diary management support and meeting bookings for the owners.

Essential requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years experience in the Early Learning and Care sector
  • Knowledge and understanding of compliance and mandatory reporting of services
  • Great understanding of the NQS
  • Experience with administrative systems and procedures
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
  • Initiative, drive and a sense of urgency
  • Current drivers license and vehicle

Desirable Criteria

  • Previous experience and/or understanding of the Early Childhood Education sector
  • General Knowledge of Laws & Regulations in the Early Childhood Education sector
  • Understanding of mandatory reporting and compliance
  • Understanding of Hubworks software
