The Learning Designer will oversee and manage the development and implementation of future eLearning course programs and ongoing review of established training content to ensure best practices are captured.

This organisation is an industry leader in the education sector. Due to growth and continual success, this business is looking to hire a Learning Designer to continue to deliver quality training programs for both internal and external stakeholders.

Description

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing advice and assistance to a range of internal stakeholders on the development and implementation of future online course programs, assessment plans and learning resources
  • Creating engaging storyboards/scripts and content for online learning programs and advising on production
  • Consulting with subject matter experts and source relevant information to design, develop and implement innovative, contemporary eLearning content
  • Analysing training related issues and provide effective solutions and advice throughout the design and development process
  • Collaborating with the Design Team to create rich media course content (video, written content, audio, dynamic and static visual assets, infographics etc.) that results in interactive and engaged learning.
  • Organising and maintaining all content according to compliance and version control processes
  • Ongoing review and evaluation of established training content to ensure best practices are captured and standardised delivery processes are used

Profile

The successful applicant:

  • Relevant Tertiary qualifications and/or experience
  • Advanced Knowledge of Moodle LMS, and content authoring and tools such as Articulate 360.
  • Previous experience working in digital development with a learning and teaching focus desirable
  • Proven track record in research, design and product strategy
  • Excellent written and verbal communicator
  • Flexible, adaptable personality and a good sense of humour
  • Ability to operate in fluid business environments to get results independently, in a timely manner
