The Staff Training Coordinator is responsible for the implementation, coordination, management of internal staff training activities for Amana Living, ensuring alignment with the organisation’s strategic training plan under the direction of Business Manager, Amana Living Training Institute.


The key responsibilities will include;

  • Respond to inbound staff training enquires via phone, email and in person
  • Provide advice and support to staff and managers on all L&D initiatives and coordination of programs such as induction training, and staff development training
  • Manage the ongoing reporting of training within Amana Living, ensuring the timely and accurate upload of all training data to Chris 21
  • Manage the internal training calendar
  • Ensure staff have required information and paperwork when attending training
  • Assist with the purchase of training aids and resource allocations
  • Facilitate the processing of invoices and book training courses as required
  • Provide monthly progress reports to your Manager
  • Organise training events and venues as directed by your manager
  • Coordinate the successful implementation, engagement and ongoing management of e-learning for Amana Living
  • Co-ordinate the overall administration of on-line mandatory training that includes; adding users, setting permissions, managing training programs and individual learning plans, reporting, uploading content, evaluation etc.
  • Assist in the development of appropriate training material and resources as needed by the organisation
  • Provide admin support to Clinical Education Coordinator and coordinates with Trainers/Staff Development Nurses in accordance with the agreed induction and on-boarding schedule
  • Liaise with People and Culture Team, ALTI staff, site managers, Home Care admin and external stakeholders as required
  • Assist the Business Manager in monitoring and reporting on day to day budgets for all training programs
  • Participate in staff meetings and ongoing professional development
  • Maintain client confidentiality at all times
  • Other duties as directed by your Manager


  • Knowledge of Adult Learning Principles
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role
  • Degree or equivalent in L&D or related discipline
  • Cert IV in TAE
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities successfully in a high stress environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people at various levels
  • Strong problem-solving and negotiating skills
  • Proven ability with Microsoft Office suite
  • National Police Clearance Certificate (no older than 6 months)
  • Successful completion of pre-medical form and reference checks
