About the Role
As part of the ongoing growth of the Government Solutions business within the APAC Region we have recently realigned our business into three major lines of business and created a newly formed Systems and Training Solutions (STS) line of business.
We are now seeking an experienced Content Development Team Leader to join our Technical and Digital Media Team where your knowledge and experience of digital content production will ensure the STS related project activities are conducted in compliance with relevant policies, procedures, quality standards and business strategy.
Reporting to the Discipline Lead for Technical and Digital Media you will work closely to ensure relevant operational, quality, administrative, governance and compliance functions related to the content development sub-discipline are properly executed and met. This will include providing technical guidance to the content development specialist staff and the business generally as well as consulting extensively with associates and others with a high degree of reliance placed on your technical expertise and advice. The role will see you:
Leveraging your own knowledge and experience to develop the sub-discipline staff knowledge of contemporary models and methods, principles and practice
Prioritisation of team workload to routinely meet negotiated deadlines and ensure business needs are satisfied together with managing content development team risks and issues and providing appropriate problem-solving solutions.
Developing digital / technical training content utilising broad spectrum of COTS and bespoke content authoring applications.
Working with Program/Discipline leads to assist in complete technical and digital solutions across multi-media and delivery technologies.
Conducting technical analysis, design and development in a Defence, Government and/or Industry context
Developing, managing, and administering digital content and applications, including quality assurance of all deliverables in the sub-discipline
Working within project teams as required as the content development specialist, responsible for technical construction of deployable learning objects.
LMS implementation, administration and management.
Actively support the BD/Sales team to win new opportunities, including the provision of relevant SME support for sales initiatives and proposal development.
S kills and Experience
To secure this position, ideally you will possess a qualification in a relevant discipline and/or possess 5+ years industry experience. Experience in a team leadership role is desirable.
You will have excellent communication skills and a track record in delivery.
Appointment to this position is contingent upon obtaining a Defence Security Clearance which includes being an Australian citizen.
