Synopsis

DIPLOMA EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATOR

  • Band 4 - $63,709 - $68,430 pa (pro rata for part time) (plus Casual loading for Casual) plus 9.5% Super.
  • Full Time, Part Time and Casual hours. Permanent, Temporary and Casual contracts
  • St Kilda, South Melbourne, Port Melbourne

About The Role

Early Childhood Educators work in our Centres delivering Council’s early learning program for pre-schoolers.

Duties
  • Develop and maintain meaningful relationships with children, families, colleagues, and the centre community.
  • Develop and implement an innovative early learning program reflective of current early years thinking and practice.
  • Document children’s learning and development.
  • Actively working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.


Skills And Experience
  • A completed Diploma of Early Education (or working towards).
  • Prior experience in long day-care/kindergarten.
  • Sound, practical working knowledge and implementation of the National Quality Framework and the Early Years Learning Framework.

Mandatory Requirments
  • Current First Aid Certificate HLTAID 004
  • Pre-employment medical check
