Salary Package: $113,421 - $118,839 per annum plus 17% Superannuation
Terms: Full time, continuing
Position overview

The ANU College of Business and Economics (CBE) seeks to advance knowledge through high quality teaching and research. We contribute to associated professions, industry and government by conducting world-class, long-term strategic research, and through the provision of a range of undergraduate, postgraduate and higher degree programs.

The Manager, Communications and Events will design, develop, and implement strategies to support the College to deliver on its objectives by delivering high level communication and events that will achieve world-wide engagement. The Manager will provide the College’s Executive and staff with advice on effective public relations, communications and events practices. This position is responsible for the operations of the Communications & Events team and plays a key role in promoting and managing University-wide initiatives.

To be successful in this role you must have relevant experience in providing strategic advice to senior management, with an ability to coach and mentor staff, to prioritise workloads and to lead a team to deliver quality outcomes. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are needed with proven ability to liaise and negotiate effectively with a wide range of people.
