JOB DESCRIPTION
The ACT Courts and Tribunal (ACTCT) supports the proper administration of justice by providing high quality support to judicial officers and tribunal members and high-quality services to those using the courts and tribunal.
We are seeking an Education Officer to join the library team focusing on developing educational materials for the ACT Courts and Tribunal. As the Court and Tribunal are open to the public to visit, we regularly have individuals and groups (schools, community groups and universities) visiting to further understand the justice system.
Eligibility/Other Requirements:
Candidates must possess
excellent communication skills
current experience in Training
enjoy an ever changing student group and be able to adapt and problem solve
Experience in any of the following will be highly regarded
experience dealing with diverse groups and people where English may be a second language
understanding of, and experience in, court and tribunal practices and procedures and/or alternative dispute resolution
current qualifications in Training are desirable
Note: This is a temporary position available for three months with the possibility of extension up to six months. Selection may be based on application and referee reports only.
