Your Impact

As the Assistant Director at Goodstart Cromer, you will use your experience and leadership qualities to engage and motivate your centre team to drive continuous improvement in all aspects across centre operation and to extend your network of relationships with children, families and educators. You will work in collaboration with your centre leadership team .

Goodstart Cromer is a small 59 Licenced place Centre with a strong community feel. We focus strongingly on nature and sustainability and we have a team of long term passionate educators.

You will establish respectful and reciprocal relationships with families and engage in networks within the centre’s local community.

You’ll help achieve this by:-

• Supporting the Centre Director in the leadership of the team to provide high-quality early learning and care to our children and families
• Having strong leadership skills will a passion for improvement
• Having attention to detail
• Having previous Assistant Director or 2IC experience
• Being responsible for the overall management of the Centre in the Centre director's absence;
• Utilising and implementing the Goodstart Practice Guide

If you have previous experience as a Assistant Director, or have substantial experience as a Senior Educator, or similar, then we want to meet you!
