Role Details We are currently seeking an innovative and passionate Classroom Music Teacher to join our school. The primary focus of this position is to teach classroom music to students from Reception to Year 6. The position also includes our extra-curriculum activities which are currently, Junior & Senior Concert Bands, Junior Choir, Festival Choir and Rock Band. This position also includes co-ordinating the School’s Instrumental Music Program. In order to be considered for this opportunity, the successful applicant will require: Bachelor of Education or equivalent Demonstrated experience in primary music education Experience and/or interest in Kodaly methodologies advantageous Well developed band & choral direction Experience playing the piano desirable A demonstrated ability to enthuse, motivate and encourage students to take part in various music ensembles.
