We are seeking applications for the following role at a school located in Darwin. This is a specialist preschool and primary school for students with intellectual disability and extensive support needs
About the Role:
Upper Primary Teacher
Years 3 to 5
Ability to teach across a range of years, plan and implement individualised programs
Support integration opportunities and work with a team of educators
Specialist preschool and primary school for students with intellectual disability and extensive support needs
Special Education Qualifications and/or experience within a specialised setting is highly regarded
Term 1 2021 Start
12 month contract - with the potential of relocation allowances
The school’s motto is “Education for Life” and strongly supports partnerships with families and carers
Classes are small and programs are developed and delivered by a Teacher and Special Education Support Officer
Selection Criteria:
Graduate and experienced teachers are encouraged to apply
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Education
Provide a minimum of three professional references
Be registered, or have the ability to be registered with NTTRB and obtain an Ochre Card
Have the right to work in Australia
