JOB DESCRIPTION

CGHS are seeking to appoint up to three (3) Electronic Medical Records (EMR) Subject Matter Expert (SME) positions to facilitate the health service resources and plan and coordinate the EMR Project in conjunction with the GHA Project team. Each position is for a fixed term period until 31/12/2022.

The EMR SME works within a team which is directed by the EMR Site Coordinator along with consultation from the GHA Project team.

This position will play a key role in EMR Project ensuring that education, testing and training requirements are met as well as managing staff feedback and expectations. It will also assist with the implementation of the EMR locally at the site.

The key responsibilities of the role are:

  • Assist training of employees and testing EMR software.
  • Collecting testing feedback and system improvements from peers
  • Communicating EMR knowledge and learnings via Face to face, email, print etc.
  • Actively attend meetings, distribute content, take minutes and help set agendas.
  • Organising resources locally when required for testing or data validation
  • Working with the Site Coordinator and education/development staff to evaluate/schedule training of employees
