We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated individual to join the newly formed Curriculum Teaching and Learning Faculty P-10! The successful candidate will co-lead this faculty in partnership with the HOD-CTL 7-10. In this role, the successful applicant leads the development and implementation of the schools teaching and learning plans, priorities and annual targets focussed on Each Student Succeeding, and influences colleagues through intentional collaboration. Ideally, the successful candidate will have experience in P-6 schooling.

Your Role

You will be responsible for the leadership of students' academic performance and engagement, and curriculum, teaching and learning; with a specific focus to:

Work collaboratively with all Heads of Department to lead the continued focus on building teacher capability to ensure all staff have a deep knowledge and understanding of the standards-based Australian curriculum, implementing a school wide approach to systematic curriculum delivery and monitoring the whole school curriculum plan ensuring currency, quality assurance, tracking assessment and moderation practices
Collaborate with all Heads of Department to embed and quality assure the CARA process of managing risks in school curriculum activities
Embed the teaching and learning of literacy, cross curriculum priorities and general capabilities with a strong focus in the P-6 phase of schooling
Lead the P-6 Literacy program and literacy teachers
Lead the Teacher Librarians and the direction and oversight of the Discovery Centre (Library)
Implement the Learning for Success program P-10
Coordinate the interim and semester reporting cycles including timelines and optional comments
Prepare P-6 Subject Guides
Work collaboratively with curriculum faculties to develop the capacity of teachers in line with our Annual Improvement Plan
Manage Human Resources and facilitate the recruitment of staff
Develop and monitor faculty budget
Line management and conduct Annual Performance Reviews.

A mandatory requirement of this role is:
