About The Role
Reporting into the Regional Tennis Manager, in this role you will:
- Develop strategies which link local primary & secondary school programs to a comprehensive local school tennis transitional pathways into local tennis clubs
- Create and drive a ‘Schools Strategy’ which links long-term sustainability of tennis participation
- Implement professional learning plans for the region to upskill teachers on the evolving national program and school initiatives
- Build strategic relationships with stakeholders within the education sector as well as with other industry groups and influencers
- Coordinate the adoption of digital products within schools as well as marketing plans to create awareness of the sport and transition students into tennis clubs and community sport
What you will bring to the role:
- Experience, knowledge and an understanding of the Australian school sector and the physical education curriculum
- An understanding of tennis and/or sport at a participant, club, state and national level
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate with a diverse range of stakeholders through a range of mediums
- The ability to plan and implement projects; including strong administration skills and computer literacy
- Tertiary qualification in education, teaching or sports management
- You must hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check and Working with Children Check
- You must hold a current Australian drivers licence
