Explore & Develop is an Early Childhood Education and Care franchise that has been operating for 16 years. Each of our 29 services across Sydney and the Central Coast are privately owned and operated by dedicated people that strive to provide the highest quality education and care.

The Explore & Develop Support Office are seeking the skills of an experienced early childhood professional to join our Support Office team as an Operations Support Manager. You will be based in our Support Office at Lane Cove, but will travel to our services on a regular basis to support and guide them in all aspects of operations.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years experience running a service at Director level
  • Degree qualified Early Childhood Teacher
  • Certificate 4 in Training and Assessment
  • Valid Working with Children Check
  • Expert knowledge of the NQF, Education & Care Services Regulations & Law, EYLF, NQS, A&R process
  • Strong understanding of pedagogical practice and research
  • Proven ability to foster a culture of continuous improvement
  • Genuine interest in supporting / mentoring people
  • Strong attention to detail
  • IT savvy
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Can do attitude and the ability to multi-task
  • Team Player

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Verbal, written and face to face support guiding practice and pedagogy delivery ensuring embedded practices
  • Operational support in line with regulations and law
  • Mentor and assess Trainee's in conjunction with our partner RTO
  • Build strong, collaborative partnerships with all Franchise owners and their teams
  • HR support including rostering, recruitment, awards and performance management
  • Audit service environments ensuring a high level of operational, WH&S and brand compliance
  • Provide support for new service openings
  • Support services in strengthening their leadership and commitment to child safety and wellbeing
  • Facilitate meetings and PD initatives
  • Maintain up to date on sector benchmarks in relation to WH&S, regulations, law and best practice in pedagogy and practice
  • Contribute ideas and look for ways to enhance, innovate and improve systems and support delivery

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $80,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
