THE OPPORTUNITY

Atomi is an online teaching and learning platform where we make awesome courses that help students, teachers and schools work better together. Our products have already reached hundreds of thousands of students, and we're growing quickly. As part of this growth, we're looking for a Learning Designer & Trainer to join our team and take our internal training programs and content production to the next level.

So if you are you a tech-savvy educational enthusiast ready to take on the challenge and wear multiple hats, playing the role of facilitator, innovator, researcher, and developer, then we’d love to hear from you!

THE DAY-TO-DAY

  • Collaborate with other teams to identify training needs
  • Design and implement effective, efficient and engaging training programs and workshops for new content and products
  • Visualize instructional graphics
  • Create supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, role-plays, games etc.)
  • Maintain and improve current training programs, documentation and guides
  • Plan, schedule and run training sessions
  • Support and mentor new employees through training
  • Monitor and present employee training performance

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Previous experience or study in instructional design, corporate training or similar field
  • Good understanding of various teaching methodologies and tools
  • Knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models
  • Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio and video scripts
  • Critical-thinker and problem-solver with the ability to multi-task
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Detail-orientated with an eye for design and high-quality standards
  • A passion for education!

Bonus points

  • Visual design skills and knowledge of design programs
  • Experience in a start-up environment
  • Being able to grasp technical concepts!
