TAFE NSW is seeking individuals with current industry experience and knowledge in Education in a School Environment to join our team of teachers on a part time casual basis. We are seeking professionals who share in our values of Customer First, Integrity, Collaboration and Excellence and want to transfer their knowledge and skills to the next generation of industry professionals in Education Support.

We recognise that real experience is the most important aspect when appointing our teaching staff, we know that this experience, your creditability and your story will have a positive impact, to generate the passion needed by our students to see their qualification through.

Therefore, we want you to discover the teacher within you. If you don’t have a current certificate IV in Training and Assessment, but you do have a passion and commitment for your industry and relevant and current experience you may be eligible for a scholarship which would provide you with the qualification needed to become a Trainer and Assessor with TAFE NSW.

If you have;

Recognised Degree in Teaching or Education specialising in K-6 / Primary School or equivalent, or 7-12 / High School or equivalent.
A minimum of five years (post degree) industry experience
Intermediate computer skills
Appropriate subject knowledge
Demonstrated commitment to quality customer service
Demonstrated ability to contribute in a team environment.
Commitment and willingness to continue to develop Vocational Education and Training (VET) knowledge and skills as well as industry currency and trainer / assessor competence.
Demonstrated organisational skills applicable to an educational setting.
High level written and oral communication skills in English and Proven ability to communicate effectively in a wide range of educational, industrial or community environments.
