JOB DESCRIPTION

As the Project Officer, you will be responsible for the provision of timely and effective administrative support for project/programs managed within the Department. The Project Officer (AMEP/SEE) will be required to support project/programs in accordance with University’s policies and procedures and within the defined scope of the project/programs.

Reporting into the Manager, Migrant English General Education, this role will work with other project/program staff to ensure the successful delivery of project outcomes. This specific role will ensure all AMEP and SEE data is gathered and entered according to contract guidelines and provide other administrative support as required.

About you

To be successful in the role, you will have:

  • Completion of an associate Diploma level qualification with relevant work related experience or a Certificate level qualification with post-certificate relevant work experience or; an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to provide advice and support internal/external stakeholders, and maintain confidentiality
  • High level organisational skills, including the ability to plan and prioritise multiple tasks to tight deadlines while ensuring data accuracy
  • The ability to communicate across cultures, and with staff at all levels of an organisation
