About the role:

The College of Business and Law is one of the largest business schools in the Asia Pacific region and delivers industry-engaged education and applied research that spark ambition and new perspectives. Attracting over 31,000 students, programs are delivered in Melbourne, Vietnam, and via significant teaching partnerships in Singapore, China and Indonesia. Through RMIT Online, the College offers a range of Undergraduate and Postgraduate programs.

The Phoenix (Project) Transformation Manager is a strategic revitalisation role where you will lead a newly formed team and project manage the delivery of key transformation projects across the college with the purpose of creating a new culture for delivery. This is a highly visible role to make your own working closely with Executive Partners with career progression opportunities available!

About you

To be successful for this opportunity you will have:

  • Demonstrated high-level experience in providing strategic support, advice and project coordination and management in a University environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to research, analyse and interpret a wide range of information and data leading to relevant, strategic verbal and written analyses of key issues and rational decision-making.
  • High-level project management skills with a record of successfully managing and delivering projects through to completion in accordance with agreed standards, timeframes and budgets.
  • Proven outstanding communication skills, including experience in developing professional communication material and delivering effective presentations.
  • Highly developed interpersonal, relationship management and consulting skills, including the ability to interact with and gain co-operation from, internal and external stakeholders at various levels and through various means.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple pieces of work with varying interest groups and to achieve excellent outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise substantial levels of problem solving, independence, judgment and initiative.
  • Strong project management methodology skills; expertise in Agile and Lean methodologies preferred.
  • Ability to use a variety of tools to ensure an end-to-end technology supported process and visualization of outcomes.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to lead and manage a team to achieve the project’s outcomes and ensure its success.

Note: Appointment to this position is subject to passing a Working with Children check.
