Apply your experience in Work Integrated Learning and Placements to assist students at CDU.

We are a new world university. Like our namesake, Charles Darwin, we think differently. We innovate, embrace change, challenge conventions and look for better ways. We're not about tradition or legacy, privilege or exclusivity. We care about people as individuals, and about our wider society. We're about what we can give to the world, rather than what we take. We cannot build a new world without diversity of thought, so we bring together people with unique perspectives in an inclusive and supportive learning environment to help them connect, discover and grow. This is the CDU difference.

The College of Health and Human Sciences at Charles Darwin University is evolving. We are strengthening our portfolio of flourishing programs; with a strong research base and exceptional community links, we are increasing opportunities for students in a range of programs. We are looking for people to join our successful teams - to innovate, to create, to develop and lead our new and exciting programs. This role will both challenge and reward, offer flexibility and career development. It comes with genuine work-life balance, which will allow you the time to explore some of Australia's best-kept secrets that are right here on Darwin's doorstep.

For further information on the College of Health and Human Sciences please visit our Website or download a copy of our Recruitment Brochure.

As Placement Officer, you are responsible for ensuring student placements are arranged successfully and in a timely manner. This will be achieved through creating, developing and managing effective systems and processes and enhancing relationships with all stakeholders: students, placement facilities, team members and academic staff.

To be successful, you require education and/or relevant experience equivalent to completion of a Certificate IV level qualification. You will be customer-focused and committed to providing a professional service and building rapport with students, staff and placement facilities. Your high-level administrative and organisational skills will ensure you are able to prioritise your workload and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
