About us 


We are one of the Sydney's educational institutions located in close proximity to the Central Station, delivering Nationally Recognised Training in Vocational Education and Training (VET) courses from Certificate IV to Advanced Diploma level in Business, Human Resources, Leadership and Management. The College is also registered on Commonwealth Register of Institution and Courses for Overseas Student (CRICOS) which allows us to deliver our courses to international students.

About the role 
We are currently seeking an experienced International Student Recruitment Officer with demonstrated sales and experience preferably in education industry. The ideal candidate will have excellent negotiating and networking skills and a positive attitude. The International Student Recruitment Officer is a crucial player to drive success of the organisation by ensuring that sales and marketing strategies are followed and met.

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

  • Seek out new partner agents that will recruit more students onshore and offshore

  • Promote, cold call, meet (on and off-campus) negotiate and confirm offers with new agents and prospective students 

  • Manage existing relationships with partner agents ? 

  • Assist in preparation, organisation and delivery of marketing materials 

  • Engage in market research to source new/emerging markets 

  • Working closely with our Social Media Marketer creating content for our social media

  • Participate in the organisation and promotion of various student events

  • General support to students 

Selection criteria: 

The position would ideally suit someone who is passionate about customer service with the hunger to achieve sales targets. The successful applicant will need to possess the following qualities: 

  • Good knowledge of the VET sector and overseas student programs 

  • Outgoing, enthusiastic, friendly personality with the ability to manage all levels of business relationships 

  • Strong presentation skills 

  • Excellent communication skills both written & verbal

  • Ability to meet sales targets and KPIs

Desirable (but not essential) Criteria: 

  • Fluent in English and a second language 

  • A resourceful person with strong self-confidence and time-management skills 

  • Previous experience working in educational sector is an advantage
