The School of Computing and Information Technology (SCIT) is one of six Schools within the Faculty of Engineering and Information Sciences at the University of Wollongong. Current research foci are Computer Security, Intelligent Systems, Software Engineering, Big Data, Multimedia Information Processing, and Information Systems. SCIT has strong R&D links with industry, actively participates in several Co-operative Research Centres.

The School of Computing and Information Technology (SCIT) is looking to recruit a Lecturer in Cyber Security to support the delivery of a new degree suite in the Master of Cyber Security. SCIT aims to be a world class Research School and this position is expected to contribute towards that aim. This position will contribute primarily to the teaching efforts of the School of Computing and Information Technology in the field of Cyber Security, while we also seek for an active lecturer who will contribute to our research in cyber security, which is conducted within the Institute of Cybersecurity and Cryptology. The scope of the position includes teaching and coordination of subjects within the School and contribution to research in cyber security.

This position will reside in Wollongong campus.
