- Work with employers to provide guidance on meeting their statutory obligations under training legislation, regulations and guidelines including assessing an employer's capacity to provide the facilities, range of work and supervision when TAFE Queensland Gold Coast prepares and monitors the apprentice training plan .
- Effectively manage client relationships to enhance and improve client interaction and satisfaction with TAFE Queensland Gold Coast services.
- Conduct training signup/induction of allocated student caseload according to TAFE Queensland Gold Coast policy and procedure, with reference to established service level performance criteria.
- Facilitate and process training plan reviews and amendments.
- In consultation with educational delivery staff, coordinate the development of individual training plans and where necessary to identify the desired training competencies required by employers and employees.
- Maintain and continually update a current knowledge of business and industry practices and processes relevant to the specialist content area of training.
- Liaise with representatives of industry, business and government to effectively promote and onsell the products and services of TAFE Queensland Gold Coast.
- Support the development and implementation of internal systems and procedures, consistent with TAFE Queensland's and the regions's business operations policy, which sustain the quality, professional and profitable operations of the region.
- Work with employers to provide guidance on meeting their statutory obligations under training legislation, regulations and guidelines.
- Undertake research and development on matters relating to business functions.
- Ensure day to day activities align with business operations.
- Contribute to improvement in business processes and practices.
- Model and actively promote an ethical and safe work environment that supports a culture of zero harm and best practice regarding health and safety, wellness and sustainability.
Highly Desirable:
- Possession of a Certificate III in Electrotechnology UEE30811 or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years' post-qualification experience
- Possession of a Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment or equivalent as described in the current Standards for NVR Registered Training Organisations.
