JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a suitably qualified and experienced production Trainer/ Assessor to join our Mount Monger (MMO) team at our Aldiss Open Pits
The key responsibilities for this role include:
Maintaining the Aldiss Open Pits training needs analysis matrix for all personnel
Establishing cost effective role-based training plans
Developing and implementing staged learning, competency-based training programs for all personnel
Co-ordinating and booking of external training
Reviewing, verifying and coordinating the recording of employee & contractor competencies and site entry criteria using our in-house system
Running our induction, on-boarding and in-house training courses
Updating and maintaining our on-line Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
The successful applicant will suit the following criteria:
At least 5 years’ experience in a mining environment, including Open Pits experience
Certificate IV in Training and Assessing
Proven experience operating as an all-rounder in an open cut environment including production digging and dozing
Previous experience in a training role, coordinating and delivering training, compliance and improvement programs
Knowledge of OHS management systems, learning management systems and training administration
Cert IV in Workplace Health & Safety or working towards achieving certification
Certificate II in Medical Service First Response desirable
This role is an 8:6 roster and can be FIFO from Perth or Residential DIDO based in Kalgoorlie. Description of the role will be discussed at interview.
