  • Commencement Salary $64,014 p.a. plus superannuation

The Institute aims to provide excellent vocational education and training services for industry, students and government in Victoria, Australia and globally.

An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and experienced Future Student Advisor to join the Marketing and Communications Team. Reporting to the Marketing and Futures Students Coordinator, this role is offered on a full time fixed term basis until 28 February 2022.

Your Responsibilities Include:
  • Provide advice and information to prospective students, employers, industry, apprentices and trainees, and unemployed or retrenches workers;
  • Prepare timely and accurate reports on activities to meet Institute and government requirements;
  • Provide support to the Future Students team as required including conducting campus tours, assisting with events, administration, reception and Contact Centre;
  • Deliver course and career information to secondary school market and support the Future Students team as required including giving presentations, attending career events and networking meetings; and
  • Provide support to the Future Students and Marketing and Communications team with writing of content for internal and external audiences for all channels,
You will need to have:
  • A degree qualification in a related field, such as marketing, education or community services.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and former experience in a customer service role, ideally within education, careers or support service setting;
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to create and deliver information to individuals or groups that is appropriate and engaging and experience with coordinating events and activities.
If you also have the following would be highly regarded:
  • Experience in the education sector
  • Experience in career counselling or career development
Please note: A current National Police Check and Working with Children Check is required for this role prior to commencement.
