Reporting to the Director, Accommodation Services, the position of Senior Contract Coordinator takes a fixed term project role in the mobilization and operationalization of the new North and South Apartments at Melbourne Campus. The Senior Contract Coordinator will be responsible for working collaboratively with relevant internal and external stakeholders to monitor, review and develop processes to support the operational delivery of the new accommodation. The position will further support contract management of the catering partnership and vending.
- Contribute to the development, monitoring and prioritizing of project milestones and tasks within tight timeframes, to support the operationalization of the new accommodation.
- Develop innovative methodologies through project management oversight, to analyse situations and propose new responses or solutions to support an outstanding residential experience
- Through contract management, support a framework which maximizes the growth potential for commercial revenue streams such as vending, laundry and catering in the new accommodation.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and consultation.
- Contribute to internal and external benchmarking through regular written reporting to senior leadership on service delivery considerations, ensuring alignment with the broader University- wide strategy.
- Support the Director of Accommodation Services with administrative, budgetary and customer focused reporting requirements
- An undergraduate degree with at least 4 years subsequent experience; or extensive experience; or an equivalent alternate combination of relevant knowledge, training and/or experience.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, especially the capacity to work collaboratively and cooperatively within and across teams & functions
- Demonstrated organisation and problem-solving skills, with an ability to manage several different projects concurrently.
- Demonstrated experience in project or contract management
- Excellent communication and reporting writing skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders to achieve stated outcomes.
