  • Part-time (0.4 FTE - 0.8 FTE), fixed-term opportunity until 31 December 2021
  • Salary range: Level 6, $83,005 - $87,723 p.a. (pro rata) plus superannuation

About the team

Located in the one of the rural offices of the Rural Clinical School of WA (RCSWA), this position will be part of the RCSWA covering the three WA Regional Training Hubs as part of the Integrated Rural Training Pipeline (IRTP) to work with increasing the uptake of Rural Generalist pathway training for GPs in rural areas within the state. The position will work closely with the head of RCSWA, the Project Manager, academic staff working as part of the three Regional Training Hubs, other relevant academic staff and the Senior Team Leader to develop plans to improve training pathways for rural GP registrars and other prospective rural GPs.

About the opportunity

As the appointee you will, under limited direction, work with staff on the Rural Integrated Rural Pipeline (IRTP) establishment in Western Australia.

To be considered for this role, you will demonstrate:

  • Relevant degree or equivalent competency
  • Considerable relevant administrative experience
  • Proficiency in a range of computing skills including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, internet and email
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to consult with a range of staff, including written and verbal
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse problems, work proactively and exercise initiative appropriately
  • Demonstrated ability to manage time and resources, to meet deadlines and to work effectively within set guidelines
  • Highly developed organisational skills and demonstrated ability to set priorities and to meet deadlines
