JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a Communications Officer to undertake a diverse range of tasks within our school community.
You will display proven communication and interpersonal skills, have an understanding of administrative tasks, and have highly developed digital skills and have experience and knowledge in marketing, communications, parent portal and newsletter.

All Saints Parish School was established in 1989 to provide a quality Catholic Education to the students of Albany Creek, Eatons Hill and surrounding areas. It has grown into a medium size school of over 620 students.
The committed and caring staff, work closely with parents to provide a well-rounded education for its students. Staff approach all teaching and learning embracing the Brisbane Catholic Education model of pedagogy.
All Saints Parish School has a comprehensive Religious Education program. The faith life of all students is nurtured through opportunities to be involved in prayer and liturgy, as well as being involved in opportunities to support the different charity groups within our community.
To be successful in this role you will:
have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education;
hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement; and
be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.
Estimated Start Date: Commencing Friday 19th February 2021
Position Tenure: Fixed Term
Weeks Worked: School term weeks only (holidays unpaid)
Tenure Duration (If Fixed Term): 1 day/wk, 6 hours Friday
Total Paid Hours (per wk) & Days Required: 6 hours on Fridays
Salary Level, Range or Hourly Rate: School Officer level 3 $29.05 per hour
Employment Conditions: Diocesan Catholic Education Employing Authorities in Queensland Single Interest Agreement
This position involves working with children. The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child related employment in accordance with the law.
