An exciting opportunity exists for a mature and experienced Room Leader to join Beverly Hills Montessori Christian ELC. Located in a quiet residential street, our boutique Early Learning Centre consists of a large cottage catering for 0-3 year olds. Our environment provides a nurturing, stimulating and safe place for learning.
We are looking for a mature person who has a lot of energy and passion and is warm and friendly. Our staff are dedicated and supportive, and want only the best for our children. This centre is a truly unique and special place. This position caters for 20 children.

Your Responsibilities:
- Room Leader for our under 3 year olds
- Plan, Implement, assess and review a high quality and diverse educational program
- Design and implement daily routines and use routine times as opportunities for leaning
- Create a friendly, secure and stimulation interactive learning environment
- Maintain positive working relationships with team members
- Ensure a high level of health and safety standards are maintained at all times
- Build strong and trusting relationships with families, children and staff
Job Requirements:
- Diploma in Children's Services, with experience in a Room Leader position.
- Excellent Verbal and written communication
- A strong, confident and motivated personality with an ambition to provide educational standards of excellence.
- A drive to be dynamic, forward-thinking and be eager to take on board new concepts and think outside the box and bringing in new ideas.
- Have a good knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework
- Live in close proximity to the centre (This is VIP!)
- No tattoos or body piercing (conservative & neat appearance)
- Two relevant references
- A current Working with Children Check; First Aid; Anaphylaxis & Asthma & Identifying and responding to Children qualifications
Part-time hours: 38 per week
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Salary: $59,000.00 – $61,000.00 per year
