The National School of Behavioural and Health Sciences is located on seven of the University’s campuses: Brisbane, Blacktown, Strathfield, North Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne and Ballarat.

The School is currently responsible for delivery of programs in six professional disciplines:

  • Exercise Physiology
  • Exercise Science
  • Nutrition Science
  • Public Health
  • Psychology

The Associate Lecturer Exercise Science makes a significant contribution to the academic and administrative activities of the national School of Behavioural and Health Sciences, with key responsibilities in the ongoing development and delivery of lecture, tutorial and laboratory material in core units of programs in the disciplines of Exercise Science and Exercise Physiology, in line with the School’s national curricula.

You will need to have:

  • A postgraduate qualification in Exercise Science or related discipline
  • Accreditation as an Exercise Physiologist (AEP)
  • Evidence of ability to show commitment with integrity to the Catholic Identity, Mission and ethos of the University
  • Evidence of high quality teaching experience, including experience as a Lecturer-in-charge across undergraduate and postgraduate units of study
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of ESSA course accreditation requirements.

Total remuneration valued to $81,746 - $110,937 (pro rata) pa, including salary component $69,076 - $93,743 (pro rata) pa (Academic Level A), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
