JOB DESCRIPTION
As an Early Years Manager of funded kindergarten programs, ECMS has opportunities available for additional educators to work within existing, high-quality teams in line with our School Readiness Funding (SRF) initiatives.
SRF is government funded, designed to give all Victorian children an equal chance to develop their confidence, resilience and readiness. Funding is targeted at building educator capacity to meet the access and inclusion, communication and wellbeing needs of children in the year prior to school.
As a Diploma Educator you will:
Work collaboratively with your team to provide an appropriate developmental and enriching program for children which maximises opportunities for them to develop to their full potential
Build and maintain positive and meaningful relationships with children, families, staff and the local community
Be a motivated and driven Educator, who will actively contribute to the program, through detailed observations & documentation and positive behaviour guidance strategies and will provide spontaneous play-based learning experiences to extend on children’s learning
Have a sound knowledge of and experience with implementing the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Standards and Child Safety Standard
Roster:
The successful candidate will work 25hrs per week, commencing ASAP and concluding 26 June 2021.
Breakfast Club: 6 hours per week
SRF additional educator: 19 hours per week
Monday
8:30 - 10:00am (breakfast club) 1.5 hours
10:00 - 4:00pm (SRF additional educator) 6 hours
Tuesday
8:00 - 9:30am (breakfast club) 1.5 hours
9:30 - 10:30am (SRF additional educator) 1 hour
Wednesday
8:30 - 10:00am (breakfast club) 1.5 hours
10:00 - 4:00pm (SRF additional educator) 6 hours
Thursday
8:00 - 9:30am (breakfast club) 1.5 hours
9:30 - 10:30am (SRF additional educator) 6 hours
To be considered you will have:
A Diploma in Early Childhood or equivalent ACECQA approved qualification
Current Working with Children’s Check and National Police Check
Current Level 2 First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Certificate
