As the Head of Teaching and Learning you will be accountable for leading and delivering educational excellence and quality education programs that meet the online training needs for our students and industry partners.

This positions leads the industry focused educator community in the Chisholm Online business, continuously developing the delivery capability, leading effective governance and compliance through an engaged teaching workforce.

Supporting the General Manager Chisholm Online and peers in the leadership team, you will manage and support commercial sustainability and nurture business growth opportunities that enhance Chisholm Online’s reputation as a leading line TAFE provider delivering industry and community needs.

Your key accountabilities will be to:
Provide active leadership across the Teaching and Learning community to inspire educational excellence in online teaching through course delivery that exceeds industry benchmarks for learner engagement, satisfaction, retention and completion
Collaborate with the Product Development team to provide formal and informal feedback regarding course review and design
Ensure all courses meet compliance requirements for Standards for RTOs 2015. VET Funding contract requirements and VET Student Loan requirements
Partner with key areas to effectively forecast and plan the teaching resource capability and capacity needs, ensuring the workforce talent to deliver to student demand in course areas
Manage the enhancement of the Chisholm Online student learning experience to improve early engagement, satisfaction and prevent attrition

About You:
You will have a Diploma VET (TAE50116), Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116), Vocational qualifications relevant to or above the level required.

Crucial to your success is your strong understanding of current developments and contemporary approaches to delivering online education and your experience in leading remote teaching workforces to deliver outstanding outcomes for learners.

You are a highly motivated and innovative leader with the ability to develop team capability and form strong relationships with a diverse set of stakeholders in a complex environment. You will be an exceptional communicator who positively influences outcomes and gets the job done. Your highly collaborative style coupled with your resilience when faced with change will set you apart as an exceptional candidate for this position.

Experience in the post-secondary education sector, or in an online learning organisation is desirable.
