About the Company

Since 1975, Belconnen Community Service (BCS) has been providing a wide range of high quality, integrated and inclusive programs and services to individuals, families, children and young people in the Belconnen and wider Canberra region. In 2019, following extensive stakeholder consultation, BCS drafted a new Strategic Plan for the years 2020-2030, and in 2020, officially changed its name to Capital Region Community Services (CRCS) as an indication of its reach into the wider Capital Region. About the Role

You will have an opportunity to assist the Director in providing strong leadership in the development and implementation of contemporary Early Childhood Education Programs with pedagogical knowledge that reflects the Principles and Practices of the Early Years Learning Framework. 

In the absence of the Director you will be required to accept and be accountable in all aspects of the program such as (but not limited to) human resources, financial management, WHS, compliance with the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations, National Quality Framework, National Quality Standards and reporting.

Essential qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in an approved (ACECQA) Education and Care Qualification.
  • Current approved First aid training as prescribed in the Education and Care Services National Regulations (Reg 136).
  • Current approved anaphylaxis management training (Reg 136);
  • Current approved emergency asthma management training (Reg 136)
