As a learning community, the staff at Trinity provides enriched, holistic, innovative curriculum in which the Gospel values (love, acceptance, respect, forgiveness, and compassion for example) are central to all learning experiences. Trinity strives to enable all students to achieve a high standard of learning and individual achievement by differentiating the curriculum to meet the various learning needs of all our students.

We are currently seeking to appoint a Student Welfare Officer at Trinity Catholic Primary. The purpose of the Nation School Chaplaincy Program is to support the wellbeing of Australian school students through the provision of pastoral care services and strategies to support the wellbeing of the broader school community. The nature of activities may include volunteering activities, breakfast clubs, excursions, lunchtime activities and parent/carer workshops. To be successful in this role, you will have excellent management and organisational skills that create supportive and safe environments, including managing challenging student behaviours and meeting a variety of social and emotional needs.

Please note that this is a part-time temporary position commencing as soon as possible to 17 December 2021. Additionally, note that this position was created for a specific initiative or programme funded by Catholic Education.

This position involves working with children. The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child related employment in accordance with CE policy.
