SF People is currently recruiting for a growing RTO based in Sydney with operations extending to NSW, QLD and SA. The current recruitment activity is for a Training Manager to support the management of the organisation’s student services, service delivery and training delivery to students in order to fully support staff and students.

This is a key role in the organisation, in this role you will be responsible for leading best practice training delivery across all programs and ensuring training is aligned with client and student needs, industry standards, quality frameworks, and VET compliance requirements.

In the Training Manager role you will:
  • Lead a team to ensure best practice and quality outcomes for the RTO across all areas of training programs, training delivery and student services;
  • Support the development of training resources including reviewing training programs, writing and editing where required, ensuring training delivery is in line with organisational standards, etc;
  • Be active in the planning of upcoming courses, ensuring student numbers are achieved, and manage student and course progress once courses have started;
  • Manage and monitor student engagement, student progress and completion activities;
  • Monitor work placement activities to ensure work is completed in line with compliance frameworks and required standards;
  • Review training programs, training delivery, student engagement strategies, course progression and completion rates, student retention, work placement strategies, and other activities; implement new strategies and improvements in these areas as required.
Ideally, we are looking for candidates with the following:
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge in the VET sector including a working knowledge and understanding of VET compliance, quality frameworks and adult education practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate at all levels.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and work towards multiple deadlines.
  • It is a requirement of the role that you have a current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116).
  • This is a full-time permanent role.
  • Office base is based in Western suburbs, Sydney NSW.
