Mulberry Tree are fortunate to have two beautiful and unique services which provide care to the Broome and Roebuck local community. This picturesque and coastal town is situated in the Kimberley region of Western Australia. Our services are two of the few early years centres in Broome and are therefore we are looking at recruiting and relocating experienced leaders to bring their expertise to our well-established services. Working in a regional service provides a unique experience which is sure foster educators personal and professional repertoire of skills, knowledge and understanding.

Working in one of our centres in Broome, will provide you with an exciting and new adventure, with a great work/life balance.

For successful Diploma Qualified Educators, we can contribute to relocation costs if in Perth or interstate. Sponsorship can also be considered, if the criteria of working for at least 3 years full time as a Qualified Educator is met.

We are now hiring Qualified and Cert 3 Assistant Educators for our Broome long day care and Kids Club centres. We are looking for Educators who are experienced, confident leaders, who will lead by example and has the ability to problem solve, both independently and as a team.

Essential Requirements

  • A recognised Diploma or higher in Early Childhood Education and Care.
  • Working towards or completed their Certificate 3 in Children's Services.
  • Certificate 4 in Education Support
  • Knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Certificates
  • Strong relationship skills relevant to effective communication with team members, families and the local community
  • Exceptional communication both written and verbal
