Specialising in the ‘care economy’, Diversitat Training have been delivering qualifications, accredited courses and non-accredited programs since 1997. Our courses are generally delivered in Geelong through blended learning and assessment methodologies including both online and face-to-face (in the classroom and/or workplace or via work placement).

The Role:
The primary purpose of this role is to generate and coordinate the placement of students into work placement opportunities suited to the qualification the student is undertaking at Diversitat. The person in this role will be required work with both internal and external stakeholders including:

students and course coordinators to ensure students are placed in a timely manner;
local employers to identify work placement opportunities and approve workplaces as host employers;
an industry association to build networks and contacts and to measure demand.

They will manage the day-to-day operations of the work placement programs to ensure students, workplace hosts and trainers are kept up to date with student engagement and progression through their placement.

About You:
To be successful in this role you will need:
Relevant busines or employment services qualifications preferred;
Two years working in a student support or similar role within a Registered Training Organisation will be highly regarded;
Strong organisational, prioritising and time management skills;
Demonstrated ability to anticipate client needs and deliver exceptional customer service;
Excellent interpersonal communication skills;
Strong attention to detail, particularly with documentation;
Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication;
Ability to work under pressure and within tight timelines;
Demonstrated ability to problem solve and work innovatively.
