Key Selection Criteria

Applicants will be expected to:

• complement and build on the current teaching and learning program
• work and communicate effectively with the level teaching team
• ensure consistency in curriculum delivery and classroom processes
• gather, analyse and use student data to drive learning and teaching and inform best practice
  
• have high expectations for all students
• implement digital technologies into the curriculum in an authentic manner that supports and enhances student learning
• create a vibrant classroom in which all students are challenged and engaged; motivated and energised
• have an understanding of and interest in Visible Learning
• embrace and participate in the life of the St Martin de Porres school community.

Application Procedures

Applicants should:

• provide a cover letter addressing the key selection criteria and a current resume including three referees one of whom is an applicant's current principal (if applicable)
• have relevant teaching qualifications
  
• be currently registered with VIT
• have accreditation to teach Religious Education (or working towards accreditation)
• be committed to the ethos of Catholic education

NOTE: A starting date will be negotiated with the successful applicant.
