The Role

We are looking for an Early Childhood Educator in supporting early years learning and education through a unique child-centered curriculum 'Being, Belonging, Becoming' which; based on the EYLF, focuses on age appropriate learning and milestones.

This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for:

• Ensure learning and development is aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Standards
• Implement and evaluate programs indoors and outdoors
• Create a stimulating and positive environment for the children that focuses on children's agency
• Writing observations and analysing children's progression and developmental milestones
• Be a confident and active leader of your room team
• Provide support and assistance to other staff members with ongoing mentoring meetings
• Monitor all staff interactions to ensure they are in line with the EYLF and the services philosophy
• Develop strong relationships with children and effectively communicate with parents and carers

Experience/Skills

• Diploma OR Bacehlor Degree in Children's Services
• Experience working within a childcare setting
• Enthusiastic and career oriented
• Understanding of the EYLF and NQF
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Being proactive within the centre and learning environment
• Able to work in a team environment

Part-time hours: 15-30 per week

Expected Start Date: 01/03/2021

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Salary: $25.00 – $27.00 per hour
