Diploma Qualified Childcare Educator

Full-time 40 hours, Parental Leave contract position, expected to start mid-March 2021 and expected to finish mid-March 2022, with potential ongoing employment. 

Glenelg Community child care Centre is looking for the right candidate with passion and confidence to be an effective member of our team. Working alongside a supportive, experienced team leader, you must have good EYLF skills and you will need to assist with the daily routine, supervise, care and education of children, contribute to the planning and programming and helping to build positive and trusting relationships with our families. We are currently looking for Diploma qualified position.

To be considered for this role, you must have the following:

• Experience in Long Day Care preferred
• Experience with under 2 children preferred.
• Diploma in Children's Services or Equivalent
• Hold a current First Aid Certificate, Working with Children Check, Asthma and Anaphylaxis and Child Protection Training
• Good knowledge of the EYLF, NQF and National Regulations
• A strong confident, motivated, and caring personality
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Be positive, passionate, enthusiastic, professional, and reliable.
• A strong understanding of and passion for Early Childhood Education and care.
